Terms of Service
Last updated: October 24, 2026
The short version
- Sojo is one account for many games. You sign in with your X account, either by connecting it or by posting a link and pasting the post's link back.
- You must be 13 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and approve your purchases.
- Gems have no cash value. They can't be cashed out, transferred or sold, and they aren't refunded.
- If we close a game, we give at least 30 days' notice and your gems still work in other Sojo games.
- A chargeback takes the gems back at once. Spending pauses in every game until your balance is zero or above.
- Some credit card payments carry a card fee, set using Stripe's surcharging service. You see it before you pay.
- Royal is $10 a month by card. It adds 500 gems each paid month and perks in each game. Royal members still see ads.
- Anyone can buy ads. Ads are reviewed automatically. Advertisers pay per view, and their card is charged as they spend and each month.
- Game makers must not copy Sojo accounts into their own sign-in. We can suspend a game at once.
- Play fair, don't attack the service and don't post anything illegal.
1. Who we are
Sojo is run by Jaivin's Shop, LLC ("Sojo", "we", "us"). Jaivin's Shop, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company.
Sojo is a shared account, sign-in, gems, payments and ads service used by many games:
- sojo.gg is the hub, where you manage your Account.
- id.sojo.gg handles sign-in.
- Games stay on their own domains. We run Tweetcraft (tweetcraft.jai.vin) and x/place (xplace.jai.vin). Other people's games may use Sojo too.
- sojo.gg/ads is Sojo Ads, where anyone can buy ads in games.
Sojo is not made, endorsed or run by X Corp.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By using Sojo, or a game while signed in with Sojo, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Sojo.
Each game may have its own terms. Games we don't run are run by their own makers, and their terms and policies apply to what they do.
3. Age
- You must be at least 13 years old (X's minimum age) to use Sojo. Under 13 isn't allowed. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve your purchases. If you're under 18 and you buy something, you confirm that a parent or guardian approved it.
- In the EU, EEA and UK, if you're below your country's age of digital consent (between 13 and 16), a parent or guardian must agree to the parts of Sojo that rely on consent, such as sharing your name, handle and picture with other people's games.
4. Your account
- One X account, one Sojo account. Your account is tied to your X user id. If your X handle changes, your Sojo account stays the same.
- Signing in. You prove you own an X account by posting a prefilled link on X. Either you connect your X account and we find the post for you, or you paste the post's link back. The post is public on X like any other post.
- Connect your X. Connecting lets Sojo read your X profile and your own recent posts to find your sign-in post. Sojo can't post, like or follow for you. You can disconnect in Account, or at x.com/settings/connected_apps. See the Privacy Policy.
- What we read from X. On each sign-in we refresh your name, handle and picture from X.
- Sessions. Each browser you sign in from has its own session. A session ends after 400 days without playing. You can see your sessions in Account and sign out everywhere.
- Keep it yours. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share, sell or trade your account. If you think someone else signed in as you, use Sign out everywhere and contact us.
- Email. You may add an email address for account recovery and receipts. Advertisers must add and verify one (see section 10).
5. Games
- Your Sojo account, gem balance and saved cards work across every game that uses Sojo.
- Each game decides its own gameplay, rules and bans. A ban in one game doesn't ban you from others.
- A game we don't run is the responsibility of its maker. We don't control what it does with information you agree to share with it.
- Games can change or shut down. If we close a game, we give at least 30 days' notice, and your gems stay usable in other Sojo games.
6. Gems
- What gems are. Gems are a virtual item used to buy things in games that use Sojo. 100 gems is about $1. Prices are shown before you pay and may change.
- One balance. Gems belong to your Sojo account and work in every game that accepts them.
- No cash value. Gems are a limited license to use a feature of the service. They aren't money, a deposit or your property. They can't be cashed out, transferred to another account, sold or traded.
- No refunds. Gems are not refunded, spent or unspent. The one exception: if Stripe flags a payment as likely fraud, we refund it and take back its gems. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right that the law where you live gives you and that can't be waived.
- If we close Sojo or a game. We give at least 30 days' notice. If a game closes, your gems stay usable in other Sojo games. If Sojo closes, you can use your gems until it does. There are no cash refunds for unspent gems unless the law requires one.
- When gems are lost. Unspent gems are lost if your account is suspended for breaking these terms, or if you delete your account. Before you delete, we warn you about this.
- EU, EEA and UK: right to withdraw. When you buy gems, you ask us to deliver them right away. You agree that you lose your 14-day right to withdraw once they're delivered. Your receipt confirms this.
- Spending is final. Spending gems happens at once and can't be undone.
- Gems from Royal. Gems added by Royal follow the same rules. They stay after Royal ends, except as section 9 says.
- Mistakes. If gems are added or removed by mistake (for example a bug), we may correct the balance.
7. Chargebacks and negative balances
- If you dispute a gem or Royal payment with your bank (a chargeback), we take back all gems from that purchase (for Royal, the gems that month added) at once. Your balance can go below zero.
- While your balance is below zero, spending gems is paused in every game. A new purchase pays down the negative balance first. Spending resumes when your balance is zero or above.
- If the dispute is decided in our favor, the gems are given back.
- A chargeback doesn't block your card.
- We use your purchase and spending history as evidence in disputes.
8. Payments
- Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe for Jaivin's Shop, LLC. We accept cards and wallets (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) only. We don't take bank payments.
- Saved cards. Every payment saves your card with Stripe so later purchases in any game take one tap. Each purchase still needs your confirmation. You can remove saved cards in Account at any time. Stripe holds your card details. We keep only the brand, last 4 digits and expiry.
- Card fee. Credit card payments may carry a card fee, only where the law and card network rules allow it. It's never added to debit or prepaid cards. We use Stripe's surcharging service to decide whether a fee applies and how much, based on your card, where you are and card network rules. It's never more than those rules allow. The fee is shown before you pay and itemized on your receipt. If a payment is fully refunded, the fee is refunded too.
- Card checks. Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment (3D Secure). Stripe may decline payments it considers risky.
- Prices and currency. Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise.
- Taxes. We use Stripe Tax. VAT or sales tax is added to the price or included in it, as local law requires. Any tax is always shown before you pay.
- Purchase history. Your purchases from every game, including Royal, ad charges and past Tweetcraft purchases, are listed in Account.
9. Royal
- Price. Royal costs $10 a month, charged to your saved card. A card fee may be added where Stripe allows it (see section 8), and tax where it applies. The total is shown before you subscribe. Royal isn't paid with gems.
- What you get. Each paid month adds 500 gems to your balance and turns on perks in each game. Each game lists its own perks, and they may change. Royal members still see ads.
- Renewal. Royal renews monthly on the day you subscribed until you cancel. Renewals are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you allow us to charge your saved card each month without asking each time. You can cancel or change your card in Account (Manage); a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
- Canceling. You can cancel any time in Account. Perks last to the end of the month you paid for. There are no refunds for part of a month.
- Declines. If a renewal is declined, Royal pauses and we retry for a limited time. It resumes once a payment goes through. If it still hasn't, Royal ends.
- Refunds and chargebacks. A refund or chargeback on a Royal payment takes back the gems that month added, even if your balance goes below zero (see section 7), and ends Royal.
- EU, EEA and UK: right to withdraw. When you subscribe, you ask us to start Royal and add its gems right away. You agree that you lose your 14-day right to withdraw once they're delivered. Your receipt confirms this.
10. Sojo Ads
These terms apply if you buy ads on sojo.gg/ads. Anyone can buy ads. If you buy for a business, you can add business details, such as a legal name, address and VAT id.
- To start. You need a Sojo account, a verified email, a saved card, your country and postal code. Every charge's receipt goes to that email.
- Paying in dollars. You pay in US dollars with a saved card, never with gems.
- Pay per view. You pick the games and plots, a maximum price per 1,000 views and a daily budget. The minimum is $10 per 1,000 views, and some plots may start higher. Each hour, each plot shows the ad paying the most that still has budget left that day, and the busiest plots go to the highest maximum. You pay just enough to beat the next ad, never more than your maximum. View estimates are estimates.
- Daily budget. The day runs midnight to midnight in your time zone. We never charge more than your daily budget for a day.
- No end date and no minimum term. Your ad shows until you pause it, it's removed or paused, or your card is declined. Pausing stops new spend at the next hour mark. Views already counted are charged.
- What counts as a view. At least 40% of your ad is on screen for 500 ms in a row. Each viewer counts at most once per hour per plot. Royal members are counted like everyone else. Views while a player is drawing don't count. Views we find invalid, such as from bots, aren't charged, and if we find them after a charge we credit them. Our count is used for billing.
- What counts as a click. A tap on your ad's link, which goes through a sojo.gg/go link.
- Standing payment permission. By starting an ad, you allow us to charge your saved card without asking each time:
- each time your unbilled spend reaches your threshold. The threshold starts at $25 and rises to $50, $100 and $250 as you keep paying
- on the 1st of each month, for anything left below the threshold
Each charge may carry the card fee in section 8, and tax where it applies. Tax is added on top of your spend. If you have a valid VAT id where reverse charge applies, no VAT is charged.
- Declines. If a charge is declined, all your ads pause at once and stop spending. They resume once the amount due is paid, for example after you save another card.
- Refunds and disputes. A refund or dispute on an ad charge pauses all your ads. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us.
- Review. Every ad is checked automatically before it runs and while it runs, including its image, text, link and landing page. Edits are checked again before they go live. An ad may be held for a closer look, blocked or, after player reports, paused while we check it. We can refuse or remove any ad at any time, for any reason consistent with these terms.
- Appeals. A blocked ad is kept 30 days so you can ask for another look once for each version. Malware and illegal content can't be appealed. A removed ad can't be edited back.
- Not allowed. Ads for banned categories in the ad rules, including rival game platforms that compete with Sojo, ads that look like part of Sojo or a game, and ads that pretend to be another brand.
- If we remove your ad. You pay only for views counted before removal. If we removed it by mistake, we credit those views.
- Suspension. We can limit or suspend an advertiser account for breaking these terms, repeated blocked ads, fraud or abuse. Its ads stop at once. Views already counted are still charged.
- Formats. Your image is shown in each game's own format, such as x/place's pixel art in its palette. You see the result before you start.
- Your content. You must own or have the rights to your art, text, link and brand, and your ad must be lawful, honest and not misleading. While your ad runs, and while it's kept for an appeal, you give us and the games it runs in a limited license to show, convert, store and review it.
- EU, EEA and UK. If you buy as a consumer, you ask us to start your ads right away. If you withdraw within 14 days, you pay for views already counted.
11. Rules for game makers
These rules apply as soon as you register a game or your game uses Sojo. The integration docs at sojo.gg/agents.txt are part of them. A separate developer agreement may follow.
- A registered game goes live at once, for its registered origins only.
- No siphoning. Don't export, resell or reuse Sojo identities to build your own account system. Don't use Sojo as a free X account check and then move players into your own sign-in.
- Sojo is the only sign-in a game may use. Identify players only with Sojo. Don't offer any other sign-in or identity provider (such as Sign in with X, Google, Apple, Discord, an email and password, or a third-party auth service) or your own player accounts. Sign-in happens only in Sojo's own frame and pages. Don't draw your own sign-in sheet, collect the post link, ask for X access for Sojo or imitate Sojo's screens.
- Keep tokens secure. Use game tokens only to identify players in your own game. Verify them with Sojo's public keys. Don't share or expose them.
- Have a privacy policy. You're responsible for your game, its content and your use of player information. You need your own privacy policy that covers what you receive from Sojo.
- Ads in your game. If your game shows Sojo Ads, report only views players really saw. Don't fake views or clicks, change ads, or make an ad look like part of the game.
- Suspension. We can suspend a game at once for breaking these rules or for abuse. A suspended game stops getting tokens within minutes.
12. Acceptable use
Don't:
- break the law, or use Sojo to harm, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone
- trick anyone into posting a sign-in link or code that isn't theirs
- use bots, scripts or fake accounts to sign in, play, earn, inflate views or clicks, or get around limits
- forge tokens, events, views, reports or requests, or tamper with gems, payments or balances
- probe, scan, overload or attack Sojo, or get around its security or rate limits
- scrape Sojo or collect other players' information
- upload or link to anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, infringing or malicious
- buy, sell or trade accounts or gems
- send false ad reports
If you find a security problem, tell us at support@sojo.gg instead of using it.
13. Content
What you make in a game stays yours. You give us and the game a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, show, copy and share it as needed to run the game and promote it (for example in posts and shares). Don't post anything you don't have the right to share. We can remove content that breaks these terms.
14. Ending your account
- You can stop using Sojo at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Unspent gems are lost when an account is deleted. We warn you before you delete.
- We may suspend or close an account, or block it from a game, if it breaks these terms, is used for fraud or puts players or the service at risk. Where it's fair and safe to do so, we'll tell you why. If we suspend an account for breaking these terms, its unspent gems are lost.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (gems, payments owed, content licenses, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive after your account ends. Ad charges you owe are still charged.
15. Changes to the service
Sojo is new. We may change, add or remove features, games, prices and packs. We may stop the service. If we close Sojo or a game, we'll give at least 30 days' notice (see section 6).
16. Disclaimers
Sojo and the games are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any game will stay available. We don't control X and aren't responsible for X's service or its changes.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill
- our total liability for any claim about Sojo is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $50
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
18. Indemnity
If you're an advertiser or a game maker, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims about your ad, your game or your breaking these terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to sue at home. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to fix it.
If you live in the EU, EEA or UK, you keep the protections of the consumer laws where you live.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top. For changes that matter, we'll give notice on sojo.gg or in Account before they take effect. If you keep using Sojo after that, you accept the new terms.
21. Other things
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Sojo.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to.
- You can't transfer these terms. We may transfer them if Sojo is sold or reorganized.
22. Contact
Email support@sojo.gg for anything: support, privacy requests, account deletion and legal notices. Email is the only way to reach us.
